Habitat for Humanity
KAPS at Habitat for Humanity, our most recent community service event, was held at a new construction site in San Francisco. Several KAPS members got together for a fun day of work and making a difference for our community. KAPS members contributed in areas like landscaping/beautification, siding addition, roofing, and nailing wooden panels (which is way more fun than it sounds!) and were able to see a visible difference in the homes being built by the end of the day.
The best part of all? The local Korean newspaper (JoongAng Ilbo) and the local Korean TV station (it's available on Comcast if you haven't checked it out yet!) came out to cover the event.
